A U-25 women’s football final match for Deputy Commissioner Cup took place at the District sports ground in Thaton Township, Mon State this evening.
In the final match, Paung Township women’s team beat Kyaikhto Township women’s team winning Thaton District Deputy Commissioner Cup.
After the match, U Ye Tun Zaw, Deputy District Administrator, awarded a trophy to the winning team, followed by presentation of medals and cash to the winning team and the runner-up team by MP Dr Zaw Lin Htut of the Amyotha Hluttaw and officials.
Four teams from Kyaikto, Belin, Thaton and Paung Townships participated in the football match starting from 7 January.—Thet Oo ( Thaton)
