A fire drill was demonstrated in the compound of the office of the Electricity Supply Enterprise in Mongyu Township, Eastern Shan State this morning with a view to preventing a sub-power station, government offices and staff housing.
Firefighters demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers and conducted a fire drill with the use of fire engines, water tankers and fire extinguishers. Officials from the Electricity Supply Enterprise and the Fire Services Department also inspected storage of fuel and fire preventive measures.—Ko Ko Naing (IPRD)
