The Mingun Myit-ayar recreation center is being constructed in Mingun region, Sagaing in order for visitors to take rest and recreation, according to a Mingun village-tract administrator.
The recreation center is being conducted at the beach in front of the two lions’ statue by Mingun region lovers. In addition, the center will be designated as a trash free zone and there will be places for children to play with, lounges, decorative vases, and cruise vessels. Those who want to tour at the center can do so free of charge, said Ko Kyaw Myo Khaing, a local resident.
There will also be cattle carts and horse carts, and visitors may take a ride with fees.
Most foreign travelers come to Mingun region from Mandalay via ships. Mingun region is annually crowded with many visitors.
