Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint inspected the Phakant Township Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) office and library yesterday afternoon.
The Union Minister and party, consisting of Directors General U Ye Naing and U Aung Myo Myint, inspected the museum, library and children’s reading room in the IPRD office, and met with officials and staff of the office. The Union Minister remarked on fulfilling the people’s rights to receive news and for providing regional news, organizing effective reading circles in cooperation with writers and authors in the township, and performing maintenance and repair work on office buildings.
