MYANMAR’S female fighter Vero Nika suffered a split-decision loss to Chilean opponent Francisca Vera at One Championship’s One Friday Fights 97, held last night in Bangkok, Thailand.

This bout marked Vero Nika’s debut in One Championship. Vera capitalized on her reach advantage, effectively using elbows and punches to control the fight. Analysts noted that Vero Nika appeared fatigued in the second round, contributing to her defeat.

Despite the loss, One Championship awarded bonuses to both fighters for their performances.
