THE Department of Myanmar Examinations has announced that the issuance of the 2025 University Entrance Examination mark certificates will resume in regions and states on 13 August, using a token system, according to the Department of Myanmar Examinations.
Although the distribution of the mark certificates began on 30 July, the process was temporarily suspended on 4 August due to errors found in the mark certificates. The issuance will now recommence from 13 August.
“On 13 August, mark certificates will be issued for Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, Mon, and Shan States. On 14 August, the mark certificates for Sagaing, Taninthayi, Magway, and Bago regions will be issued. The dates for the remaining regions will be announced later,” said an official from the department.
For the issuance process, four counters will be open at the department’s headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw, and ten counters at its Yangon branch, with counters designated for each state and region.
To obtain a token, applicants must bring their Citizenship Scrutiny Card, driving licence, student card, or other form of identification. In the application for the mark certificates, they must fill in their roll number, name, pass/fail status, and any subjects passed with distinction. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. — ASH/KNN
