Myittha, 22 October

A total of 55,485 acres of rain-fed paddy have been successfully cultivated in Myittha Township during the 2025–2026 fiscal year, according to the Township Department of Agriculture.

To support rice cultivation during this year’s rainy season, the Township Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department distributed water from the Kintar Reservoir Dam, Panlaung River, and Hmaunggyi Baung River via the Samar Canal. Thanks to systematic irrigation, local farmers achieved successful planting across all designated fields.
