ACTING President of the Republic of the Un­ion of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Secu­rity and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently in China on his working visit, accompanied by Commission Secretary and Joint Execu­tive Chief General Ye Win Oo, commission members, Union ministers, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers and officials, visit­ed Tebian Electric Apparatus (TBEA) Company in Beijing at 5 pm Chinese standard time yesterday.

 

The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and party were warmly welcomed by the president of the company and employees.

 

They viewed round scale models of power plants built by the company, generating en­ergy and minerals across the world and assembling electron­ic equipment displayed at the office of the company and asked about the work process.

 

At the meeting hall, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar discussed functions of the company, pros­pects to generate hydropower and solar power in Myanmar to be supplied to the domes­tic market and international countries with creation of job opportunities to be able to con­tribute to development of the country, collaborative efforts in mining to produce finished products, and cooperation in development of energy sector in Myanmar.

 

The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar signed the guest book and exchanged gifts with the president of the company. — MNA/TTA
