Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Secretary of the Commission General Ye Win Oo and officials, inspected the Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station yesterday morning.
The Senior General viewed the diesel-electric multiple unit (DEMU) down train at the station from which it would depart from Nay Pyi Taw to Yangon, as well as the general functions of the railway station. After hearing the reports of officials, the Senior General provided guidance on the need to upgrade the railway station’s platform, enhance tidiness and beautification in the station yard, implement systematic staff and passenger movements, and implement safety measures.
The Senior General visited Pobbathiri Township in a motorcade to explore the beautification process and urban development initiatives. — MNA/TTA
