MATCHDAY XIII of the 2025-2026 My­anmar Women’s League kicked off on 7 January, with Ayeyawady FC and ISPE FC both claiming victories.

 

At the Padonma Ground, Ayeyawady FC edged Yangon United FC 1-0. Ay­eyawady continued their strong run in the second round and, with this win over Yangon United, moved level in the title race with defending champions ISPE FC. Yangon United’s defeat left them seven points adrift of Ayeyawady with a game in hand, significantly reducing their title chances. Phyu Phyu Win scored the deci­sive goal in 27 minutes. Ayeyawady have 30 points from 12 matches, while Yangon United have 23 points from 11 matches.

 

At the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre Ground 1, defending champi­ons ISPE FC recorded a six-goal victory over Yangon City FC. ISPE continued to apply pressure in the title defence, trailing Ayeyawady by two points with a game in hand. Shwe Yi Htun scored in 36 minutes, Lin Myint Mo struck in 49, 50 and 70 minutes, and Su Pyae Pyae Kyaw added goals in 55 and 80 minutes. ISPE have 28 points from 11 matches, while Yangon City remain without a point after 12 matches.
