Basic food items are being sold at affordable prices in Einme Township, Ayeyarwady Region, under the supervision of the Township Price Stabilization Committee.

In collaboration with the Township Rice Millers Association, Edible Oil Dealers’ Association, and egg traders, the committee distributed 20 bags of rice at 2,000 kyats per basket, 50 viss of cooking oil at 7,000 kyats per viss, and 600 eggs at 350 kyats each at a local monastery.

According to the committee, these sales will continue every week from Monday to Friday to help ease the cost of living for residents.— Chit Thet Le (Einme)
