In an effort to ease the burden of rising food costs, the Township Commodity Price Stabilization Committee organized the sale of basic food items at affordable prices this morning in front of the market office on Maha Bawga Road, Kyangin Town, Myan Aung District, Ayeyarwady Region.

 

During the event, essential food products were sold at subsidized rates in collaboration with local business owners. Prices included: Five eggs for 2,000 kyats, fifty ticals of palm oil for 3,500 kyats and twenty-five ticals of pork or beef for 5,000 kyats.

 

The sale was carried out systematically by staff from the Township General Administration Department, the Development Committee, the Livestock and Veterinary Department, and private oil suppliers to ensure smooth service to consumers.

 

Members of the Township Management and Administration Committee, the Commodity Price Stabilization Committee, the Township Deputy Administrator, and officials from the General Administration Department were present to oversee operations.
