To help stabilize market prices, basic food items were sold at fair prices this morning at Mingalar Market in Ka Da Ward, Paung Township, Mon State.
Organized by the Township Management and Administration Committee, the sale offered essential items such as one viss of coconut oil at the reference price of Ks 7,000 and four eggs for Ks 1,500—lower than local market rates.
The event was led by Committee Chairman U Htin Lin Aung, Township Police Chief Police Major Myint Zaw Oo, Committee Member U Kyaw Lin Oo, Assistant Director U Tun Tun Oo of the Township Development Committee, as well as members of the Market Committee and local Ward Administrators.— Mon Malay (IPRD)
