Border-to-factory smooth flow of CMP raw materials requires assistance from authorities

The Union of Myanmar Feder­ation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) request­ed the Central Committee on En­suring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods to assist in ensuring the smooth flow of CMP raw mate­rials imported through borders to the factories and workshops without disruptions.

 

On 8 November, the com­mittee’s joint secretary, UMFC­CI president, general secretary and other officials concerned visited Hlinethaya, Shwelinpan, Shwepyitha, Wahtaya, Thadukan and Mingaladon industrial zones to undertake ground inspections and coordinate the necessary matters discussions with and held industrial zone manage­ment committee members and entrepreneurs engaged in busi­nesses on Cutting-Making-and Packaging basis.

 

Daw Khine Khine Nwe, UM­FCCI General Secretary, asked to assist in the smooth trade flow of imported CMP raw materials via borders to the factories and workshops. She also emphasized the CMP working process, labour force, foreign income, “Made in Myanmar ‘’ branding promotion, purchase order of the garment and commitment to the Voluntary Labour Compliance Assessment in Hlinethaya Industrial Zone.

 

Then, the team inspected each garment factory, footwear manufacturing factory and manufacturing of contact lens in the Shwelinpan, Thadukan and Mingaladon industrial zones re­spectively and met with officials concerned. — NN/EM
