CENTRAL Bank of Myanmar Governor Daw Than Than Swe received Ms Ma Jia, Ambas­sador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, and her delegation at the meeting hall of the Central Bank of Myan­mar in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

Both sides held frank and cordial discussions on the use of the Chinese yuan in the in­vestment and banking sectors, measures to facilitate smoother payments for investment and trade conducted in yuan, and ways to enhance and implement financial and banking coopera­tion between the two countries.

The meeting was also at­tended by the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Myan­mar and officials concerned. — MNA/MKKS
