Officials from the Rural Development Department of Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region, inspected the completed concrete paving of a road in Khanpin Aint Village on the morning of July 20.

 

During the inspection, U Htike, Head of the Township Rural Development Department, along with engineering staff and members of the Village Development Committee, met with village elders and local residents. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the quality of the road construction for long-term durability.

 

The newly paved concrete road measures 660 feet in length, 12 feet in width, and 6 inches in thickness. It was built at a cost of Ks 27.5 million, with technical support and close supervision provided by the Township Department staff.

 

With the project now fully completed, the road is expected to greatly improve year-round transportation and accessibility for the rural residents of Khanpin Aint Village.— Maung Khaing
