To improve year-round transportation for rural residents, officials from the Township Rural Development Department inspected the completed concrete paving of the village entrance and internal roads in Tawpathi Modern Village, Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region, this morning.

District Officer U Set Naing Htun, Township Staff Officer Daw Mimi Aung, and departmental officials reviewed the 2,000-foot-long, 12-foot-wide, six-inch-thick concrete road. After the inspection, they met with members of the Village Development Committee to discuss maintaining the sustainability of local development projects.

The paving works, implemented in the third week of September 2025 under the 2025-2026 fiscal year Union Grant Fund of Ks 83.33 million, were carried out through joint efforts of departmental engineers and local villagers. All works have now been successfully completed.— Poe Thakhin
