A concrete paving work of road has been implemented since the fourth week of October this year in Pati Village in Hmawbi Township of Yangon Region and now, 90 percent of all the projects have been completed, according to an official from the District Department of Rural Development.

During the inspection tour, officials from the District DRD met with members of village development committee and urged them to meet the set standards and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

The concrete road measuring 430 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in volume is being constructed with K 18.0 million including K 15.0 million of DRD’s funds for 2024-2025 fiscal year and K 3.0 million contributed by local people.—Maung Khaing (DRD)
