The Rural Development Department of Zeyarthiri District, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, conducted a field inspection of the ongoing concrete road paving project in Gyopin Village this morning. The project is being funded by the Nay Pyi Taw Council under the 2025–2026 fiscal year budget.

Leading the inspection were Daw Soe Soe Oo, Head of the District Rural Development Department, and U Myo Zaw, Township Head of the Rural Development Department. They were joined by departmental officials and members of the Village Development Committee. The team assessed the progress of the work and provided necessary guidance on-site.

The concrete road under construction measures 1,392 feet in length, 12 feet in width, and 7 inches in thickness. The project is being carried out by Z.C.O. Company, the firm awarded the tender, at a cost of Ks 85.399 million provided by the Nay Pyi Taw Council. According to an official from the District Rural Development Department, the project is currently 65 percent complete since commencing in the second week of July.—Thu Thu
