Officials from the Department of Rural Development inspected a newly completed concrete road in Thitpok Village, Pathein Township, Ayeyarwady Region, this morning.

Led by the Regional DRD Head, officials met with village elders and highlighted the importance of quality construction and proper maintenance.

The road, measuring 355 feet long, 12 feet wide, and six inches thick, was built with Ks 18 million—Ks 15 million from DRD funds and Ks 3 million contributed by villagers. The project has been fully completed and is expected to benefit local residents.— Maung Khaing (DRD)
