            Construction of Balaminhtin-Naungchein inter-village road in Winemaw Township, Kachin State was inspected on 18 August.

            During inspection, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction of the inter-village road and met with responsible people from the tender winning company. The officials then urged the responsible people to meet the set standard within the target date.

            The road measuring 4.5 furlong in length, 16 ft in width and seven inches in volume is being implemented by tender winning company with technical aids of the township department. The project is being conducted starting from second week of June and now it has been completed by 15 percent. Upon completion, transportation and communication will be more convenient for a total of 6854 people from eight villages and it will bring socioeconomic development to them.
