With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity, the construction works of two reinforced concrete bridges on Tonnan-Shwedaung road in Kalewa Township, Kale District of Sagaing Region have been completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
Construction works of the two concrete bridges measuring five ft. in length, 20 ft. in width and five ft. in height have been initiated since July 15 this year with Ks. 29.14 million of the Township Development committee’s allocated funds in 2024-2025 FY, and now, all the projects were completed 100 percent.
The bridges bring benefit to 1034 local people from 210 households in three villages in the Township.—U Tun Min Aung
