Construction of inter-village road in Chauk Township

With the aim of narrowing gaps between rural and urban areas, Chauk Township Department of Rural Development is implementing construction of Magyisu-Zeepau(Chauk-Magway) inter-village road during 2023-2024 FY. On 25 January, officials from the township inspected the construction site in the township.

The officials inspected the project and urged the members of village committee to maintain the durability of the road. The road measuring five furlong, 18 ft in width and six inches in volume is being conducted with K 12.67 million of funds of Union Budget. It was conducted starting from fourth week of June, 2023 and now it has been completed by hundred percent. Once completed, it will benefit a total of 2427 people from 593 households in three villages.
