The Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Dedaye Township, Ayeyarwady Region, has begun distributing financial assistance to farmers cultivating winter paddy for the 2025–2026 fiscal year.
According to Daw Myat Thu Zar, Manager of the Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank, the funds are being provided to farmers who have fully repaid their previous agricultural loans. She also emphasized that recipients must strictly follow the bank’s rules and regulations for loan usage.
A total of Ks 11.355 million has been disbursed to 113 farmers, covering 757 acres, with each farmer receiving Ks 150,000 per acre.— A Zarlin
