Deputy Minister for Information U Aung Hla Tun received Radio Free Asia (RFA) new Director for Southeast Asia Matthew Pennington at the Ministry of Information yesterday.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters on current situation and challenges that media in Myanmar are facing, important role of international media in democratic transition time, arrangement by Ministry of Information for guided media tours for local and foreign media to Rakhine State and promotion of collaboration between MOI and RFA.
