A donation ceremony for the flood-affected regions was held yesterday afternoon at the meeting hall of the Disaster Management Centre under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement. Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement Dr Soe Win attended the event, accepted the donations, expressed his gratitude, and presented certificates of appreciation to the appreciation.

At the ceremony, retired deputy ministers (2011-2016) donated K3 million, while Naing Ngan Aye Rice Warehouse from Lanmadaw No 6 Aungmyay Quarter of Chauk Township, together with his family, staff, and traders, donated K50 million. Additionally, Money King Company Limited contributed K10 million, making the total donation amount K63 million. — MNA/KZL
