THERE will be elections in Myanmar later this year or early next year.
Myanmar should carry out the elections in accordance with Myanmar values. Not imposed upon from the usual corners of the world who have been preaching the meaning of elections and democracy strictly based on their views, and imposing their values upon countries in the global South! In the case of Myanmar, it is a staunchly Buddhist country. They don’t understand Myanmar’s values and traditions.
There is a fierce debate going on in the West about the meaning of democracy. Democracy as long as there is no debate about the rules of the global order set by the globalist elitists, who have had unfettered monopolies in the past 80 years. 80 years, they have had a ride without any question to their views.
The meaning of democracy? Just look at France! Shall we ask the courageous Prime Minister of Hungary? How about the courageous leader of Slovakia? Let’s look at what’s going on in Romania. The list just goes on and on!
At the top of the list of globalist elitists are those self-absorbed people (SAPs) from the ivory towers in Geneva and New York!
One of the main pillars of their creation was peace. Where have they brokered peace in the recent memory? Point one! There is none! They have no success record to show for years/ decades in terms of brokering peace and thus, there is desperation. The dream of the Nobel Peace Prize fading away fast! When one is desperate, there is a tendency to act irrationally. Case in point their mighty leader from New York visited the camps in Cox’s Bizarre recently. The crisis erupted in 2017, his first year. All these years, there was no visit to Cox’s Bizarre. Now that nearing the end of the term, dropped in Cox’s Bizarre for a photo op. Compassion? Please!
Myanmar suffered from one of the worst earthquakes in more than 100 years. It’s true all’s not well with Myanmar. But, in his remarks supposedly about the earthquake, which lasted three minutes (taking no questions from the reporters), the high and mighty big Boss in New York couldn’t help but veer into politics. The remarks were not one of empathy. It was a political statement! The announcement was made that the Humanitarian Chief would be despatched. Fair enough! It was also announced that a Special Envoy would be despatched too! For what? What is the person going to do? Again, they can’t help but mix politics in every given opportunity. About those so-called Envoys, what have each and every one of them achieved in the last more than 20 years? These appointments have been made to park some “has beens”, to send those who are no longer wanted in New York into “exile”, a payback for someone who has done a favour, DEI, and so on. Not one single appointment is in the best interest of Myanmar people.
These people, together with usual globalist elitists are oblivious to the reality of today. Global order as it existed is not changing. It has changed drastically! But these SOPs remain in denial. They should look at the newsstands. A current issue of a leading magazine said, in relation to the US politics, “Congress’s Age of Irrelevance”. Another leading magazine said “Curtains for Europe”. These are far-left liberal magazines!! Another leading conservative newspaper ran an article with the headline “Global Economic Order Gets Reshuffled”.
Speaking of the Big Uncle, how about the “the Court”? The internal panel has claimed the self-righteous “prosecutor” tried to retaliate in connection with the sexual misconduct. Note, that this is an “internal” investigation. There was no courage to bring in totally independent external investigators. Even then, the misconduct must be of such a scale that even the internal investigation could not shove it under the rug. This is the guy who is handing out arrest warrants left and right to the world leaders who actually matter to the fate of world peace. Anyone with the slightest of shame would have stepped aside. But not this one. No dignity! No shame! The big boss in New York has said nothing! The courageous leader of Hungary said the country would be leaving the Treaty.
They have been in Sudan for decades. Just look at what’s going on in Sudan. South Sudan was their latest “baby”. Just look at what’s going on in South Sudan. They can’t solve anything. Not especially when the “Uncles” are involved. Look at Ukraine. Look at the Middle East! Not a single thing they can do. Enter Myanmar, their usual bully target!
As for the Human Wrongs people in the ivory towers in Geneva, they live on their own planet far away from reality! The team on the ground in Myanmar, those who witnessed the tragedy caused by the natural disaster firsthand, said they have seen no blockage of aid to the quake victims. But the Human Wrongs, far away living in luxury and out of touch couldn’t help to put out a statement that Myanmar’s military is choking aid. It’s all about their own interest. There is a glaring example of what’s wrong with the whole system. Let’s ask the big powers like the United States, Russia and China for their views on these Human Wrongs people. The fate of the world will not depend on these Human Wrongs!!!! Like the ceiling. The whole place is dripping with rot!
For the coming elections in Myanmar, don’t let any of those SOPs and countries claiming transparency, democracy and what’s fair and not fair elections come anywhere nearby. They’ll just come with ulterior motives preaching inclusive this, inclusive that. Keep them out and keep them far away. Do what’s best for Myanmar internally and with the help of friendly countries.
