Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe met Members of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS) yesterday at the Conference Room of the MISIS.
At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs reflected on contemporary international relations and the current situation in Myanmar and provided guidance for the future direction of the MISIS.
The Chair and members of MISIS reported on the current implementation process of the MISIS and made briefing of their intellectual views on global and local conditions to the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Then, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Chair, and the members of MISIS exchanged their insightful thoughts on international, regional, and domestic affairs cordially and frankly. — MNA
