STATE Administration Council Member, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo received the Russian delegation led by Director Alexander Sergeevich Shatirov of the Fund RC-Investments in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The two sides exchanged views on expanding the trade route from Mumbai, India, to Yangon, Myanmar, facilitated by Russia, the construction of a solar-powered plant developed through cooperation with the Fund RC-Investments, quality fertilizer import, promotion of electronic trading, sharing of quake-resistant construction methods and further work plans.
Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant, the deputy minister for Transport and Communications and other departmental officials were also present on the occasion. — MNA/KTZH
