Kyaukse University in collaboration with the No. (18) Drug Task Force (Mandalay South), organized a drug prevention awareness lecture yesterday at 9 a.m. in the university's Theatre Hall in Kyaukse Districty, Mandalay Region.

At the event, Police Major Aung San Khaing from the No. (18) Drug Task Force (Southern Mandalay) delivered a detailed lecture on drug prevention and awareness. His presentation covered the definition of drugs, their harmful side effects, both physical and psychological symptoms, drug-related crimes, associated punishments, and relevant legal sections.

To support the awareness efforts, drug prevention pamphlets were distributed to attendees free of charge. As a token of appreciation, the Kyaukse University community presented souvenirs to the guest lecturer.— Kyaw Swar (Sintgaing)
