Thongwa 15 September

            Myanma Economic Bank is disbursing cash aids to elderly people in Thongwa Township, Thanlyin District, Yangon Region starting from 15 September.

            A total of 640 elderly people over 85 years old in the township will be provided with K 60,000 each for six months at the bank with the supervision of an official from the Department of Social Welfare.

            In the morning of 15 September, a total of 104 elderly people from ward 1 to 7 were provided with cash aids and other elderly people from the remaining wards and villages will be disbursed, according to the Department of Social Welfare.
