THE Myanmar Embassy to Australia said on 24 September that it will accept US$ in cash for passport and consular services payment, as well as online payment in Australian dollars.
The embassy said it will accept US dollars in cash only for passports and all consular services starting from 1 October 2025, and added that online payment in Australian dollars is acceptable too.
However, cash payments in Myanmar kyats or Australian dollars are unacceptable, it said. — MT/ZS
