Essential food items were sold at fairer prices this morning at Mingalar Market, located in Ka Da Ward, Paung Townshi in Mon State.

The sale was organized under the leadership of the Township Management and Administration Committee to help ease the cost of living for local residents. Items included four eggs for K 1,500 and palm oil at K 7,236 per viss. These essential goods will continue to be made available at subsidized rates.

Present at the event were U Htin Lin Aung, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee, Police Major Myint Zaw Oo, the Township Police Chief; Committee Member U Kyaw Lin Oo, U Htun Htun Oo, Assistant Director of the Township Development Committee, along with members of the market committee and ward administrators.—Mon Malay (IPRD)
