GOVERNMENT Technical Institute (Insein) of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DTVET) under the Ministry of Science and Technology will offer Electric Vehicles Technical Training for Workshop Mechanics (2/2025) from 8 to 12 September 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm in the corner of Mingyi Street and Lower Mingaladon Road, Insein, to share EV technical knowledge regarding troubleshooting problems in EVs. Trainees must be healthy enough to execute practical work. Graduates of GTHS (AT, ET, EC), ITC (AT), AGTI, BTech, BE, ME, PhD (Mech, EP, EC, MC), and staff of EV private companies with a high school education are eligible to attend the training. The training will offer both practical and technical knowledge of EVs with the use of Lab equipment. They will receive a completion certificate.
Those enthusiastic can enrol in the training by 3 September by providing a citizenship scrutiny card copy, a health certificate from the Township Public Health Department, copies of education certificates, a household registration copy, a police clearance certificate and three licence-sized colour photos. The training is limited to 25 trainees.
