Extension work of multi-purpose hall in Thongwa Township nearly completed

With the help of Korea International Cooperation Agency, Letpan smart village which implemented village action plan is continuing to implement the three projects in the post-project period in Tongwa Township of Yangon Region.

Under the leadership of chairperson of the project committee U Sein Nwe, secretary of the committee Ko Naing Kyi and members of the committee, the extension works of multi-purpose hall have been implemented in Letpan smart village in Thongwa Township and so far, all the projects have been complete almost 100 percent.

The  multi-purpose hall measuring 50 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width is being extended to 60 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width with K 11.7 million including 9.8 million of the project’s funds and K 1.5 million contributed by local people.

Once completed, it will bring benefits to local people, according to U Sein New, chairperson of the project committee.—Kyaw San
