The Myittha Township branch of the Myanma Agricultural Development Bank, located in Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region, disbursed monsoon season agricultural loans today to farmers from Lam Kwa Village Tract for the cultivation of 618 acres of rain-fed paddy in the 2025–2026 fiscal year.

The distribution began at 9:30 a.m., led by branch manager Daw A Mee Mee Khant, who stressed that only farmers with a clean repayment record on previous loans were eligible. A total of Ks 92.7 million was granted to 135 farmers, with each receiving Ks 150,000 per acre.

To qualify, farmers must hold a Form-7 land use certificate, a recommendation from the village-level paddy loan scrutiny committee, valid household registration, and a citizenship scrutiny card, according to an official from bank.— War War Myint (Myittha)
