In an effort to enhance the socio-economic well-being of rural communities, the Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank in Kyaukse Township has provided financial assistance totaling Ks 1,755.2 million to 2,682 farmers engaged in rain-fed paddy cultivation across the Township.

 

The bank offers Ks 150,000 per acre for paddy cultivation and Ks 100,000 per acre for other crops such as chickpeas, green gram, and cotton. This funding has benefited farmers from 66 village tracts, supporting the cultivation of 12,212 acres in total—including 10,680 acres of paddy, 1,462 acres of green gram, one acre of sesame, 59 acres of cotton, and 10 acres of chickpeas.— Thet Maung (Kyaukse)
