The Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Sinbaungwe Township, Aung Lan District, Magway Region, disbursed monsoon crop loans to local farmers at 1:00 p.m. today for the 2025 planting season.

U San Thaw, Manager of the Township Myanma Agricultural Development Bank, announced that the loans are being provided at a rate of Ks 150,000 per acre for paddy fields and Ks 100,000 per acre for sesame fields, with an interest rate of 5 percent. Only farmers holding a valid land use certificate (Form 7) are eligible to receive the loans. He also explained the terms and conditions of the loan agreement to the villagers.

Loans were issued to farmers who had fully repaid their previous agricultural loans. A total of Ks 25.9 million was disbursed to 35 farmers from Let Pan Ngu Village Tract, covering 103 acres of other crops and 104 acres of paddy, according to the Township Manager.— Khant Win (Sinbaungwe)
