A commissioning ceremony for trainees from the 10th intake (female) of the Defence Services Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences was held yesterday morning at the institute’s convocation hall in Mingaladon Township, Yangon Region.
The ceremony was attended by Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Phone Myat, senior Tatmadaw officers, Commandant of the institute Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Lin, as well as graduates and their parents.
According to the proceedings of the ceremony, Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Phone Myat, senior Tatmadaw officers and the Commandant of the Defence Services Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences took their seats in the convocation hall, after which Lt-Gen Phone Myat presented commissioning letters to each of the graduates.
Lt-Gen Phone Myat then delivered a speech, and the ceremony concluded. — MNA/MKKS
