THE five-day course ASEAN Certified National Training of Trainers Batch II has been opened, according to the Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA).
With the approval of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, the “ASEAN Accredited National Training of Trainers Course Batch II” organized by the Human Resource Development Committee of the UMTA was inaugurated on 22 September at the UMTA’s office.
The five-day training will be held from 22 to 26 September, and 23 participants from the tourism industry are reportedly attending. The course will be taught by U Kyaw Swa, an experienced trainer, who has already obtained the ASEAN Master Trainer & Assessor accreditation.
The UMTA is planning to continue to run high-quality courses like this at the ASEAN level in order to improve the training capabilities of the hotel and tourism sector in Myanmar and to continuously upgrade the technical skills. — MT/ZN
