The District Disaster Management Department provided cash assistance to flood-affected households in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, who were displaced by Irrawaddy Riverbank erosion and landslides.

A total of 258 people from 65 households in Tengat Village Tract, Letpan Khon Village, Htaung Kone Village, and Leyar East and West Villages received Ks 6.5 million for housing materials and Ks 1.29 million for rice, totaling Ks 7.79 million, according to U Hein Htet Aung, Deputy Township Administrator of the General Administration Department.
