Taunggyi 1 October

            Funds from the Emerald Green Project were disbursed in Naungyuwe village, Taunggyi Township, Southern Shan State, at an event held on October 1. The project aims to help families expand their businesses and increase their income.

            First, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development explained the purpose of the fund disbursement. Similarly, a responsible person of the project also clarified the interest, term and rules for using the fund. Then, they handed over the funds to the members of the project.

            A total of 60 people were disbursed K 55.2 million of funds including K 36.9 million to 38 people for agricultural business, K 9.3 million to 17 people for livestock business and K 9 million to five people for production business at a low interest rate.
