The Defence Services Medical Academy hosted a graduation dinner for its 26th Intake at the assembly hall of the con­vocation hall of the academy in Yangon yesterday evening, attended by State Security and Peace Commission Chair­man and Defence Services Command­er-in-Chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

 

The Senior General cordially greet­ed the graduate officers and then had dinner together with the graduate of­ficers and dignitaries.

 

After the dinner, the Senior General and party enjoyed the musical enter­tainment of the military band of the academy and presented cash awards.

 

At the convocation hall, the Senior General and party, together with the graduate officers, watched the songs and one-act plays presented by the Myawady Entertainment Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare.

 

Also, present at the dinner were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, the wife of the Senior General; Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win and his wife, Com­mander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and his wife, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Command­er-in-Chief and their wives, Union-level dignitaries, Union ministers and their wives, commanders, the commandant of DSMA, officials from Mingaladon Sta­tion, parents and relatives of graduate officers and guests. — MNA/TTA
