THE graduation ceremony of the Ba­sic Accounting and Office Proficien­cy Course No 237 was held yesterday morning at Nawarat Hall of the Office of the Union Auditor-General in Nay Pyi Taw under a hybrid system.

 

The event was attended by Un­ion Auditor-General Dr Khin Naing Oo, the Deputy Auditor-General, the Permanent Secretary, departmental officials, course instructors, and train­ees, while instructors and trainees from the offices of the state and regional auditors-general participated online.

 

At the ceremony, the Union Audi­tor-General urged the trainees to ap­ply the knowledge, skills, and insights gained from the course effectively in the workplace, to share accounting knowl­edge widely, and to continue attending intermediate and advanced-level cours­es to further develop their individual capacities, to become competent staff capable of contributing to the benefit of the nation and their respective de­partments.

 

Afterwards, on behalf of the train­ees, a participant from the Department of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation expressed words of gratitude.

 

A total of 884 trainees – 370 from 32 departments and organizations in Nay Pyi Taw, and 514 from 11 regions and states – attended the course. The qualification examination for the course will be held simultaneously from 11 to 17 September 2025. — MNA/MKKS
