Under the guidance of Sitagu Sayadaw, a groundbreaking ceremony of Sitagu Ayudana Hospital (Taungoo) was held in conjunction with the launch of Sitagu Sayadaw’s statue in Ketumadi Myothit, Taungoo Township this morning.

On the occasion, the Sitagu Sayadaw, Bago Region Chief Minister U Win Thein, Commander of Southern Command Maj-Gen Myo Win and officials formally opened the ceremony and the Sitagu Sayadaw pressed the button to open the statue and sprinkled the scented water on it.

This was followed by the groundbreaking ceremony and the Bago Region Chief Minister, Commander of Southern Command and donors drove the stakes and donated cash for construction of the hospital to the Sitagu Sayadaw.
