All proceeds from the exhibition’s painting sales will be donated, in partnership with the Saviour Foundation, to support mental health hospitals and departments in need.
The Anawrahta Art Gallery is holding an art exhibition titled ‘Healing in Colour’ at the Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon in Yangon from 15 October to 15 November.
“We would like to invite you to the ‘Healing in Colour’ exhibition at the ‘Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon’ to appreciate the magnificent artworks and encourage those suffering from mental health issues,” said one of the exhibition organizers from Anawrahta Art Gallery. “Art is a force that can heal our minds, and as World Mental Health Day falls within this month, we decided to name this event ‘Healing in Colour’. For this exhibition, Anawrahta Art Gallery will be showcasing twenty-five magnificent paintings throughout the Lobby Area of the Chatrium Hotel for anyone to view. Furthermore, all profits from the sale of the paintings at the exhibition will be donated, in collaboration with the Saviour Foundation, to where it is needed in mental health hospital and mental health departments.”
The “Healing in Colour” exhibition, which is being organized and presented by the Anawrahta Art Gallery, is showcasing a total of twenty-five paintings executed in various mediums, including watercolour, oil, and acrylic, in the Lobby Area of the Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon. The paintings on display come in a variety of sizes, such as 24 by 24 inches, 36 by 24 inches, 18 by 24 inches, and 18 by 18 inches. – ASH/MKKS
