At approximately 1:00 a.m. on August 27, heavy rainfall triggered flash floods in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. As a result, some bridges sustained damage, including the Nyaungkaing Creek Bridge between Taung Po Thar Village and Thakya Hin Oh Village, the Nat Ma Thauk Creek Bridge near Thakya Hin Oh Village, and the Bailey Bridge connecting Taung Po Thar Village and Ohn Pin Village.
