ACTING President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, paid working visits to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr Kassym-Jomart Tokayev respectively. Yesterday morning, the high-level Myanmar delegation led by the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar left the Astana Airport of Kazakhstan for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. They were seen off at the airport by Mr Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, U Thit Linn Ohn, Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation, and officials.
Commission Secretary and Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, Commission Member and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Ministers U Nyan Tun, U Ko Ko Lwin and Dr Thet Khaing Win, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers, and military and civilian officials who accompanied the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar came back on the same flight.
The high-level Myanmar delegation led by the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar arrived back at the Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport in the evening and were welcomed back at the airport by Commission Vice-Chairman Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Commission Member and Prime Minister U Nyo Saw, Commission Member and Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe, Commission members, Union ministers, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr Iskander Azizov, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, and officials from the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Military Attaché’s Office to Myanmar. — MNA/TTA
