THE Myanmar women’s club Institute of Sports and Physical Education (ISPE), having advanced to the qualifiers, has now again been granted the opportunity to host the final group stage of the 2025-2026 AFC Women’s Champions League in Myanmar.

 

The final group stage will be held with 12 clubs divided into three groups. Myan­mar’s ISPE Club, defending champion Wuhan Jiangda from China, and Ho Chi Minh City Club from Vietnam will host the group stage matches.

 

The final group stage will be held in November, and the ISPE Club will host the matches at the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon.

 

A total of 12 teams will compete in the final stage: eight teams with direct qualifi­cation and four teams from the qualifiers. The group stage draw for the final round will be held on 11 September. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
