Kantbalu 8 October

It is estimated to cultivate 142,558 acres of monsoon paddy in Kantbalu Township this year and by the end of September, 150,986 acres had been cultivated, exceeding the target by 8,428 acres, which is 103.46% of the planned acreage, according to an official from the Township Department of Agriculture.

With the aim of increasing the yield of rain-fed paddy, officials from the Township Department of Agriculture conduct field trips to give guidance on the cultivation methods, use of fertilizer and organic pesticides.

If paddy can be cultivated with high-yield, it will not only ensure sufficient supply for local consumption but can also be sold to other regions and states and as an export commodity.
